This is probably due to not having administrative rights to download software to your PC or your device not being compatable with Microsoft Silverlight (i.e. iphones).  To resolve this speak to your IT administrator.

My video is jumpy, why is this?

The world cup map is simultaneously downloading both map information and video so requires a significant amount of bandwidth.  The IIS smooth streaming technology manages changes in bandwidth by degrading the quality of the video to suit the bandwidth available.  On low bandwidth connections or on lower specification devices (or if you have many windows open at the same time) the quality of the mapping or video experience may degrade to the point where this becomes jumpy or slow.  We apologise if this is the case and hope you might visit again when you have access to greater computing power, bandwidth or preferably both.

What’s the minimum specification that I need to run this experience?

We don’t specify a minimum as the bandwidth is probably the most important factor in determining the quality of the experience (as with iplayer or other online video streaming experiences).  However, the faster the broadband, more powerful the device and fewer applications you have running, the more likely you will get the optimal experience.
